Here are some pictures of my two year old Schnoodle (mini schnauzer / mini poodle mix).

Please pardon the ADIDAS convention in the livingroom. :P

She's good at stealing stuff from us... :P
Do you guys go to the Norwood Estates dog park? The fenced one off I-35 and Riverside? We've taken her a few times, but she started getting into little fights with the bigger dogs (I think she's insecure!) so we haven't taken in her in a while. Do any of you have smaller dogs with this problem?

Do you know anyone who's giving away/selling their schnauzer? I'd like to get one as a playmate for Penguin. :]

So many doggy monsters! Do they all get along? I want to get another for Penguin to play with during the day, but I'm nervous that she may not get along with another one. She's weird... she tends to get along with the smaller sized submissive dogs. I guess she's a dominatrix!

They do get along. The black doggie (Daina) used to be our Alpha-Female, but she's getting old and doesn't really give a shit anymore ;) The red doggie (Dini) has happily taken over the alpha position. Dottie is very much the Omega, whereas Neo is just too dumb to comprehend pecking order and just does whatever he wants.
As for a 2nd doggie, i think that's a fantastic idea! Doggies are so social and to be alone all day can be very stressful for them. So take her w/ you when you go to the Humane Society. They'll let you and your doggie meet a potential sister or brother before adoption!

Furball and Mini are from the same litter, although you'd never guess it by their looks or personalities. Furball is very outgoing, orange, fluffy, and dumb. Hehe. Mini is shy, but is the queen of snuggles when no strangers are around and she's tiny. She likes humans better than other cats.

Mini
Monty was a malnourished stray that found me on a cold, rainy night. He's now HUGE. He's a 22 lb snuggle bunny. He's way too smart for his own good and always seems like he knows what's going on.

I love kitties!!
Oh wow! They look HUGE! *laughs* do they all try to sleep on you?!September 15 2005, 02:21:12 UTC 6 years ago
Re: I love kitties!!
Only Monty is huge. Mini is actually really small. Furball is kind of long, but he's pretty skinny. His fluff is deceiving ;).Mini ALWAYS sleeps on me. If she sees me getting ready for bed, she immediately goes to the bed and waits by my pillow. She likes to have her body under the covers and her head out, resting on my shoulder. She sleeps that way all night long.
Furball also likes to snuggle, but Mini hisses at him, so he tends to stay at the foot of the bed. If I'm relaxing on the couch, he likes to snuggle with me, though.
Monty likes to burrow under the covers and sometimes he sleeps at the foot of the bed. He also likes to climb up on me and plop down on me when I'm on the couch.
They all take turns in my lap when I'm at the computer, too. All three of them are super sweet and love their chances to snuggle with humans :).

Monty definitely has some fat, but he's also big in general. The vet said he'd still be like 18 lbs, even at his healthiest weight. His head and tail look too small for him, really, but the rest of his structure is big.
It would be easier to get him to lose weight if I didn't have two skinny kitties to worry about :P.
